Back From 70s : Magic Dress

Nel 1971 Alberto Caroli , già proprietario di Softwear, azienda produttrice di scenografie televisive , crea Magic Dress, un progetto sartoriale innovativo: protagonisti delle collezioni sono abiti composti da piastre di alluminio plastificato, assemblate tramite gancetti a creare geometrie uniche e innovative.

A distanza di 40 anni è il figlio Roberto Caroli a riprendere la linea e riproporre, in versioni rivisitate, quelle stesse linee diventate tanto famose anche grazie ad una testimonial d' eccezione come Mina, che vestì esclusivamente Magic Dress in occasione di un tour di 7 mesi nel 1971.

E' di nuovo la contaminazione ad essere al centro delle scelte stilistiche dei Caroli, "rubando" i materiali al mondo delle scenografie e trasportandoli nel mondo della moda, creando un connubio inusuale e sperimentale.

Richiami al passato con uno sguardo teso al futuro: un' interessante declinazione dell' avanguardia Made In Italy .

In 1971 Alberto Caroli, owner of Softwear - a manufacturer of television set designs- creates Magic Dress, an innovative sartorial  project: the clothes were made by  aluminum plastic cards, assembled by clips to create unique and innovative geometries.

40 years later Roberto Caroli, his son, resumes the collection and propose the same design , become so popular due to a special testimonial such as Mina, who wore exclusively Magic Dress clothes in'71 in her seven - month tour.

Agina contamination is the centre of Caroli' s stylistic choices, "stealing" materials from the set design world and bringing them into fashion , creating an unusual and experimental combination.

References to the past with an eye to the future : an interesting variation of the avant-garde Made in Italy.

8 UpComing Designers Rock Glam Snow

Grande interesse per Glam Snow l' evento targato IT&MF Model Agency che ha visto protagonisti 8 stilisti emergenti e la presentazione delle loro collezioni.

Un contesto informale nella cornice offerta dal locale milanese G Lounge ha permesso ai giovani designers di offrire  un' immagine di sè assolutamente libera e diretta, proponendo alcuni outfit scelti tra i loro migliori lavori.

Innovazione e richiami al passato, contaminazione e attenzione per i materiali sono le caratteristiche  salienti dell' evento che, gratuitamente, ha offerto ad un pubblico vario la possibilità di "assaggiare" stili e gusti diversi.

Nei prossimi giorni approfondiremo la conoscenza di questi artisti coraggiosi e, non temete, vi daremo modo di seguirli nei loro prossimi impegni!

Glam Snow , the IT&MF Model Agency event,  has attracted strong interest giving the chance to 8 upcoming designers to introduce their own collections.

In a really informal setting offered by G Lounge club has allowed the young designers to offer an absolutely pure and direct self-image , proposing some outfits chosen from their best creations. 

Innovation and references to past, contamination and attention to materials are the main features of the event which gave the opportunity to "get a taste" of different styles and inspirations to a great variety of people, totally for free.

Mancano meno di 24 ore al grande evento che vedrà giovani stilisti al centro della scena.

E lì, in totale anteprima ci saremo noi di CoolAunts , in prima fila a rendervi partecipi di tutto; anche se, forse, la cosa migliore è che ci trovassimo tutti per una grande festa pre Natalizia !

Glam Snow --> A Glamourous Xmas !

Sabato 15 Dicembre si svolgerà la prima edizione di una  strabiliante serata interamente dedicata ai giovani creativi: Glam Snow.

Nella bellissima location del celebre G Lounge di Milano, bellissime ragazze ammaglieranno il grande pubblico indossando le collezioni di giovani stilisti!

La serata è stata pensata proprio per rendere la moda sempre più vicina al quotidiano e permetterà a  questi veri e propri artisti di farsi conoscere e apprezzare ..

Un piccolo ma significativo gesto in vista del Natale!!

The first edition of an amazing evening dedicated to young creative talents will take place on Saturday, Dec 15: Glam Snow.

In the beautiful location of the famous G Lounge in Milan, gorgeous models are going to charm the audience, wearing the collections of young upcoming designers!

The event was designed precisely to make fashion closer to  everyday life and allow these real artists to be known and appreciated ..

A small but significant act for the incoming Christmas!!
