La collezione di Angelos Bratis, che avevamo apprezzato durante la scorsa settimana della moda Milanese, è un inno alla cultura ellenica , tra geometrie rivisitate e tonalità inaspettate.

Il giovane designer greco propone volumi interessanti , resi ancora più particolari dalla modalità di creazione dei suoi abiti: lo stilista, infatti, non disegna cartamodelli, ma costruisce direttamente sul corpo delle modelle.

Passato , presente e futuro , perfettamente amalgamati.






Angelos Bratis' collection, which we had enjoyed during the last Milan fashion week , represents a manifesto of the Hellenic culture, using new geometries and unexpected colors.

Young Greek designer proposes interesting volumes, made even more special by the creation of his clothes: the designer, in fact, doesn' t draw patterns, but shapes fabrics directly on the body of the models.

Milan Fashion Week - Roccobarocco : A feeling of Freedom

E' solo apparente il senso di rigore e austerità che traspare dalla nuova collezione Autunno/Inverno 2013/2014 presentata da Roccobarocco oggi,  terzo giorno della Fashion Week milanese.

La sobrietà si colora di malizia, reinterpretando un gusto bon ton grazie a silhouette armoniche ed eleganza essenziale; i severi tailleur gessati lasciano scoprire capi in cashmere con inserti in pizzo, offrendo una femminilità resa ancora più conturbante dall' accostamento con uno stile androgino.

L' atmosfera di contrasti viene enfatizzata dalla scelta dei tessuti: tweed e flanelle, pizzi e cashmere, inserti impreziositi da ricami e pietre.

I volumi strutturati, le spalle costruite e gli impermeabili oversized prendono vita e movimento grazie alle grafiche damascate e da richiami a motivi rinascimentali, ricreando effetti cinetici resi interessanti dall' unicità dei capi stessi, dipinti a mano.

Le cromie del grigio e del nero vengono illuminate da lampi inaspettati di tonalità corallo, zaffiro e smeraldo, vivacità cromatica ben espressa anche nei colori degli accessori.

Il classico diventa moderno, il rigore lascia spazio alla fantasia, le geometrie costruite si movimentano con stampe uniche; una collezione che si nutre dei suoi contrasti, in un manifesto di pura libertà.

The atmosphere of contrasts is emphasized by the choice of fabrics: tweed and flannel, cashmere and lace inserts, embellished with embroidery and stones.

Structured volumes  and  oversized raincoats take life and movement thanks to the damasks graphics and references to renaissance lines, creating kinetic effects made ​​interesting by uniqueness of hand-painting.

Shades of gray and black get illuminated by flashes of unexpected colors such as coral, sapphire and emerald, vibrancy is well expressed in the colors of the accessories too.

Classic becomes modern, rigor allows fantasy, solid geometries get moving thanks to unique prints; this collection is nourished by its contrasts, being a representation of pure cretivity freedom.
