Mila Kunis breaks Up with Dior

Mila Kunis licenziata da Dior.

La bella attrice americana di origini ucraina era infatti testimonial della nota maison per la linea di borse Miss Dior, ma sarà presto sostituita da Jennifer Lawrence che presterà il suo volto alla campagna P/E 2013 .

L' apparente motivazione è che Mila non sarebbe più "conforme alle esigenze d' immagine previste dal brand" , apparendo "ingrassata e sciatta".

E' innegabile, l' immagine di una modella è il suo biglietto da visita, e come tale va preservato al meglio; è però altrettanto innegabile che , a fianco delle campagne contro l' anoressia , questa notizia stona e lascia decisamente amareggiati.

The beautiful american actress was actually the face of the Miss Dior bags collection but she' s about to be replaced by Jennifer Lawrence who is going to give her face to the 2013 spring /summer campaign.

The reason behind is that Mila doesn' t represent the image of the brand anymore, looking "fat" and "messy".

It' s undeniable , a model body is her business card and should be conserved at best; it's undeniable as well anyway that , next to the anti - anorexia campaign, this event looks so out of place and leave us definitely bitter.

La triennale di Milano ospita in questi giorni la mostra
"Lady Dior as seen by", dove viene celebrata l'iconica borsa, oggetto di culto per gli amanti della maison.

Artisti da tutto il mondo (ricordiamo tra gli altri Patrick Demarchelier, David Lynch, Peter Lindbergh, Bruce Weber) rendono omaggio alla mitica borsa, tramite fotografie, sculture e oggetti d' arte.

A rendere ancora più speciale l'evento è l' iniziativa patrocinata dall' Accademia delle Belle Arti di Brera 

"Lady Dior as seen by / A new generation of italian artists".

Alessandro Carano e Davide Stucchi sono i vincitori di un contest indetto dalla maison francese che, ripercorrendo il percorso artistico e lavorativo del suo fondatore, mira a sostenere i giovani verso un debutto tra i grandi nomi internazionale di fotografia e arte.

La mostra sarà visitabile fino al 4 novembre... Affrettatevi quindi e correte alla triennale !

Triennale Museum in Milano hosts, just in these days, the exhibition

"Lady Dior as seen by", celebrating the iconic bag, object of worship for lovers of the maison.

Artists from all over the world (among others Patrick Demarchelier, David Lynch, Peter Lindbergh, Bruce Weber) pay homage to the legendary bag, through photographs, sculptures and objets d 'art.

To make the event even more special is the initiative sponsored by The Academy of Fine Arts of Brera

"Lady Dior as seen by / A new generation of italian artists."

Alessandro Carano and David Stucchi are the winners of a contest organized by the french maison that, retracing the artistic and working career of its founder, aims to support these young artists towards a debut among the big names in international photography and art.

The exhibition will be open until November 4th ... Hurry up and  run to Triennale Museum!
