Una vetrina del celebre negozio vintage Genbrug, situato nel cuore di Copenhagen.

Vintage, oggi più che mai amato ed apprezzato..

Ma cosa si intende per Vintage??

A sentire i grandi nomi della moda italiana e mondiale sembrerebbe che qualsiasi capo "vecchio" di un paio di stagioni sia ormai vintage..

Siamo tutti d'accordo? Noi non crediamo.

Vintage non è solo termine per definire abiti di seconda mano o desueti, è passione per i dettagli e ricerca del nuovo nel passato, un circolo interminabile che però solo alcuni riescono a seguire.

Sopratutto in Nord Europa, e in particolar modo nei Paesi anglofoni, questo stile di vita è tanto comune che in ogni quartiere della città sorgono negozietti e piccole boutique (davvero eclettiche ed eccentriche) che accostano con totale nonchalance abiti haute couture anni '30 allo stile grunge tanto amato in queste zone, dando un risultato davvero inaspettato ma piacevole.

Questo è avere stile, riuscire a trovare nelle proprie radici quel dettaglio che ci identifichi, a discapito a volte della moda stessa.

Ma non era proprio Madamoiselle Cocò a dire " la moda passa, lo stile resta.." ??

Do you think so? We actually don't..

Vintage is not just a word to identify second hands garments and accessories, it's passion for details and research for new in what was old.

Especially in Northern Europe, this kind of lifestyle is so popular that you can find little shops (really eclectic)almost everywhere; what' s interesting is that they present 30's Haute Couture clothing next to grunge style apparel... So cool!

This is Style then: finding in our past the detail we can identify with, no matter what fashion actually tries to impose!
